Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who can oversee high-volume accounts payable operations with precision and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing financial processes and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Responsibilities: - Process and manage high-volume accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness. - Oversee account coding and ensure proper categorization of expenditures. - Utilize accounting software systems effectively to streamline financial operations. - Perform audits to ensure compliance with internal and external financial regulations. - Monitor accrual accounting activities and maintain accurate records. - Facilitate automated clearing house (ACH) payments and other electronic transactions. - Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. - Manage data processing tasks related to accounts payable functions. - Provide oversight and guidance on financial services tools such as ADP and Concur. - Support the implementation and optimization of accounting software systems. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles. - Proficiency in account coding and familiarity with accrual accounting practices. - Strong skills in data processing and auditing. - Experience with automated clearing house (ACH) payments and electronic transactions. - Working knowledge of ADP and Concur systems. - Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. - Familiarity with accounting software systems; experience with Great Plains is a plus. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
